Titan Krios TEM at The Nanoscience Centre University of Cambridge

Dear Colleagues,

I am happy to announce that we are ready to resume the access for the University of Cambridge users to the Titan Krios at The Nanoscience Centre at the weekends.

There will be no beamtime applications procedure as we had it before, instead we’ll adopt a rapid access route. The research groups seeking to use the instrument will need to contact me directly by completing and e-mailing me a short questionnaire. Please do so on Mondays (starting from April 10) and only if you are able to use the instrument in the coming or the following weekends.

1-day, 2-day sessions are available.  There will be a possibility to accommodate shorter sessions, i.e. a few hours in length. Please e-mail me if interested.

We are pleased to inform you that the call for applications for the beamtime at TitanKRIOS@Nanoscience  is open from August 16th, 2016.

The deadline is September 13th, 2016, 23:00. Proposal submission will NOT be accepted after this date/time.

This is our first beamtime allocation period (AP1) and will run for 3 months from October to December 2016, for the total of 11 beamtime sessions, i.e. Sundays.
